Recently some of our BBDS clients that currently use some form of ASA Tire System points of sale systems are  looking at the Kyocera Printing technology.  The Kyocera line of printers and digital copiers work well as replacement printer  for tractor feed printers as well as TallyGenicon laser printers. Scanning on-ramps we recently tested is  the Kyocera ECOSYS M3040idn.  We are pleased to announce that we where successful in printing all of the POS data to the device as well and connect and scan using the Hypas connector into Autostore.  For Action Tire Company this was a win-win because we where able to combine both the scanning and printing into one device.  Here is a list of printing devices BBDS currently has in production with its ASA clients:

Recently BBDS has been getting phone calls from ASA customers concerning their TallyGenicom laser printers not holding up due to age and ware.  As some of you are aware that this solution was designed to print laser output of your:

• Invoices
• Work Orders
• Statements
• AP Checks

BBDS has an alternative printing solution that will still allow you to print laser output using your ASA Tire Max software.  Please give us a call for a consultation.

I wanted to mention that BBDS has been brought in on a current ASA Tire Master Enterprise (TME) implementation. BBDS provided and implemented the following:

• Converting the old SUN systems server to Red Hat 6 (This was needed to rum the the newer Tire Master Enterprise)
• Ruckus Wireless Implementation to support Mobile Inventory Manager
• Upgraded Windows XP to Windows 7
• Network Drops to support the placement of new workstations
• Added Active Directory Server to manage the security of network
